Jesse Sanders is a professionally trained geochemist and environmental consultant with five years of experience in environmental consulting and engineering geology. His duties at HPE include environmental due diligence, multi-media regulatory compliance assessments, the design and implementation of site investigations, site characterizations and remedial investigations, as well as remedial design and installation.

Jesse is a Certified Professional Geologist. Prior to working in environmental consulting, he worked for privately owned companies in an environmental compliance capacity and as Chief Geologist for several small specialty coal leases.

Jesse obtained his Masters of Science degree in Geology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2015. While working on his M.S., he served as head teaching assistant and co-wrote and edited two undergraduate lab manuals (for principles of geology and geologic hazards) for publication. Prior to working in the sciences, Jesse obtained two Bachelor of the Arts degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles in History and German.
