HP Environmental is seeking an experienced individual to perform field inspections and monitoring specifically related to indoor air quality (IAQ) and occupational exposure. Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in industrial hygiene or a related science and minimum of 5 years experience performing independent site investigations is required. Preferred candidates should have some knowledge of building design and operation and/or construction-related field experience. Must have good written and oral communication and computer skills. The majority of work will be in the D.C.-metro area; however, some limited overnight travel will be required. Limited weekend and night work may also be required. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to carry 50 lbs. of equipment and have reliable transportation. This is a full-time position.
* Perform building and HVAC system operations and maintenance inspections.
* Independently collect samples (air, surface, bulk) and deploy electronic sensors in buildings and on construction projects.
* Conduct water intrusion and mold assessments.
* Develop and provide written and verbal recommendations to clients.
* Manage data related to long term IAQ studies.
* Interact directly with clients regarding schedules and findings.
* Develop and track project budgets.

Industrial Hygienist (Entry Level)
HP Environmental is seeking an individual who can independently perform building site inspections and monitoring related to asbestos and lead. Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required and a minimum 3 years experience in the practice of industrial hygiene or a closely related field, preferred. Must have good written and communication skills. VA, MD and DC licensing for asbestos and lead testing and monitoring a plus. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Industrial Hygiene Technician (Entry Level)
HP Environmental is seeking an entry-level technician to assist field personnel in performing inspections and monitoring for asbestos and lead-related projects. Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required and the desire to learn more about the field of industrial hygiene. No experience necessary, training will be provided.
