Hugh Granger has practiced and conducted research in the areas of clinical, forensic and regulatory toxicology for more than 25 years, evolving into his current professional focus on applied environmental hygiene and laboratory science. Hugh has participated in or lead health hazard investigations following major catastrophic events including the World Trade Center.

Hugh has served as a consultant or advisor to many private and public agencies including architects, engineers, contractors, building owners and managers, insurance companies, attorneys, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA) and the National Academy of Sciences (NAS), among others.
After completing a 15 year term as a technical expert and laboratory assessor for the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), Hugh assumed the position of Toxicology and Laboratory Director for HP Environmental. During this period, he investigated numerous public health incidents ranging from chronic exposure to poisoning and environmental pollutants. Hugh has also been recognized as a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemists and is a Diplomat and member of numerous professional societies.
